The long sweep of soft sand and clear water at The Strand on Providenciales
a long, soft shore

Three pools, a quiet stretch of sand and a marina near by, with room for the whole family to settle in.

The rhythm of the week

What a stay feels like.

The Strand is built for the unhurried kind of holiday: long mornings on the sand, slow afternoons between the pools and the residence, easy dinners and a sense of having the time, and the space, to do very little at all.

Mornings on the sand

The day starts gently. Coffee on the terrace, the children already on the beach and a long, soft shore that runs well beyond the first swim.

Afternoons by the pools

Three pools, shaded loungers and the residence a few steps away, for the easy back and forth between water, shade and a quiet hour with a book.

The space of a residence

Room to spread out as a family or a group: separate bedrooms, generous living space and a kitchen for the mornings you would rather not go anywhere.

Evenings, unhurried

Dinner at one of the restaurants, a walk along the water afterwards and the particular calm of a place built for staying put rather than rushing on.

The design

Residences, not just rooms.

The Strand is built around private residences rather than standard hotel rooms, which is what gives it room to breathe. Light, calm interiors, generous living spaces, full kitchens and terraces that open straight onto the sand.

It is the kind of layout that works for a family of four or a group of twelve: somewhere everyone has their own space, with the service, pools and restaurants of a resort a short walk away.

Bright, calm conditions on the beach at The Strand during the Caribbean dry season

When to visit

Turks and Caicos, through the year.

Providenciales is at its best from November to May, when the days are bright, the water is calm and the humidity stays low. The shoulder months can be quieter and softer in price, and we will advise on the right window for your dates.

November to May

The classic season: warm, dry, calm seas and the most reliable weather for time on the beach and on the water.

December to April

Peak weeks around the holidays and half-terms, beautifully timed for family travel but best booked well ahead.

May and June

Warm, quieter and often softer in price, with the shore at its calmest before the summer.

Summer and autumn

Hotter and more humid, with a chance of passing storms. We will advise carefully if you are set on these months.

Atlas&Co. will advise on the best timing depending on your dates, who is travelling and whether The Strand is paired with another island or stay.

A terrace at The Strand set for an easy family dinner by the water

The table

Easy days, easier evenings.

Dining at The Strand is built around the way families actually eat on holiday: a handful of restaurants for the evenings you want to be looked after, and a full kitchen in the residence for the mornings and lazy lunches you would rather keep to yourselves.

Breakfast on the terrace, a long lunch between swims, a relaxed dinner by the water, and the option of a private chef or a grocery shop arranged before you arrive.

The wider journey

Where to pair it with next.

The Strand can sit beautifully within a wider Caribbean journey: a little island-hopping, a quieter cay, a city stop on the way through or a longer, slower stay by the water.

Atlas concierge notes

A little private advice.

  • 01Choose the residence size around your group, not the headline rate; the extra bedroom is usually worth it.
  • 02For families, the November to May window gives the calmest sea and the most reliable beach days.
  • 03Stay a week or longer to make the most of the space, the kitchen and the slower pace.
  • 04Ask us about a private chef or a pre-arrival grocery shop for the easy nights in.
  • 05Flights, transfers and any time on the water are best handled as one itinerary.
